Thomas Banks and Partners opens its farm gates to the general public every year and last year we had a fantastic turn out of nearly 2000 local residents.
We decided to open our farm to allow everyone to come and see our machinery, ask questions and have a fun day. This is not a profit making event but actually as something more… educating those around us in what we do and why. The environment and wildlife is essential for us to do our job and provide food. We believe strongly in working alongside our wild friends and have signed up to government environmental schemes.
Visitors can enjoy attractions such as: tractor and machinery demonstrations, feed the goats, wildlife walks (kindly narrated by Elizabeth Ranelagh, FWAG), homemade tea and cakes, hog roast, wellie wanging and much much more. This year we have expanded what we are doing by having a craft fair as well, with over 30 stalls all selling home made local crafts.
We would love for you to join us and meet the team here at Thomas Banks and Partners at the next Open Farm Sunday, 19th June 2016. The farm gates will open from 10am and we will close at 5pm. If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us here or look on the Open Farm Sunday website for more details.
